How does PayPal work?
The consumer places an order on a webshop and chooses to pay with PayPal. He or she can then login by means of an email address and password. The payment order and the particulars of the webshop owner then appear. Payment is carried out by a single click. The amount is deducted from the PayPal account, the bank account or the consumer’s credit card and the webshop is informed that the order has been paid. Payment by PayPal is free of charge to the payer. The payee pays a percentage of the transferred amount plus a transaction fee.
